{August Break 8/22: Squares}

For today’s prompt, a shot from my family’s trip to Ireland in July: This is a window in the Blarney Castle, otherwise a bona fide tourist trap where people line up to kiss to Blarney stone to hopefully be blessed with eloquence (only my younger son actually did it, the rest of us enjoyed wandering the beautiful castle grounds). While wandering around the castle, I spotted this curious installation in one of the tower’s lower windows. I have no idea what’s behind it, but since I taught myself how to crochet these kind of granny square only last year, I was intrigued.
