I know it’s been all about the Hemingway House here lately, but I’m simply having too much fun with it. This week three 3rd/4th grade classes came to visit, and it was a great experience. Not only for them, who loved learning about how people lived around 1900 and touching all the cool old stuff, but also for me to see kids so enthused about the past.
Plus they thought “my” attic was awesome and I wholeheartedly agree with that! A big thanks to the teachers for undertaking the field trip I instigated, and to our tour guides Lori and Sue for indulging the kids.

I imagine it'll be a few years for them before they can start to get Hemingway.
Indeed, but hopefully this trip will have planted the seed.
